The police checked Zalina Azman’s house three times

SHAH ALAM: The police have not found any new leads regarding the case of the disappearance of the former newsreader of a television station, Zalina Shaharah Azman.

Shah Alam District Police Chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said so far his party has conducted three inspections of the woman’s house.

“The last inspection was carried out at the home of the missing person (OH) on July 28 but there were no clues or new findings,” he said when contacted today.

He said the inspection was carried out with the help of the Detection Dog Unit (K9) and the Forensic Division (D10) of the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters.

Reportedly, the police received a report about the disappearance of Zalina Shaharah, 58, otherwise known as Zalina Azman from her son, Mikhael Norman, 33, on Nov 29 last year who tried to contact her since Nov 24, 2021 to inform her that the complainant’s grandfather had been hospitalized, but the woman not able to be contacted.

The police believe that Zalina Shaharah is still in the country as there has been no outbound movement involving the woman that the authorities have detected so far.
