The Oscars Awards are back with the host after 4 years
AWARDS The 94th Academy will once again host its awards night for the first time since 2018.
This year, the film industry’s highlight night will return to the traditional Dolby Theater venue, Los Angeles on March 27.
While most of the awards event was postponed due to the escalation of the COVID-19 case, the organizers resumed the academy awards.
ABC Entertainment president Craig Erwich however did not reveal who the host will be hosting this year’s awards night.
The last time the Oscars featured a host was in 2018, through Jimmy Kimmel.
In 2019, Kevin Hart canceled his appearance as the host following a controversy surrounding his Twitter tweets.
The absence of Oscars hosts then continued to be the norm for the next two years.
Other big names to have hosted include Chris Rock and Ellen Degeneres.
