The LIMA’23 exhibition reached the target of 600 exhibiting companies

KUALA LUMPUR: The Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2023 (LIMA’23) successfully achieved the target of 600 exhibiting companies in the event which will take place from 23 to 27 May next.

The Executive Director of Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd who was appointed co-organizer of LIMA’23, Muhammad Aqlan Pacleb said the area of ​​the exhibition hall has also increased by 28 percent, thus showing the positive momentum of the biennial event so far.

He said the entire area of ​​the LIMA’23 exhibition hall was full and there were no more places.

“Our target to get 600 exhibitor companies has been achieved even though only 480 companies were involved before.

“This is because in the 600 companies, only one company has two and three more companies under it,” he said while being an invited guest on the Assalamualaikum program produced by TV Al Hijrah, today.

In addition, Muhammad Aqlan said the area of ​​the exhibition area has exceeded the designated space and if the exhibition hall is to be expanded further.

In the meantime, Muhammad Aqlan said that according to the Ministry of Transport, LIMA’23 had about 40 percent commercial involvement from the entire exhibition.

Meanwhile, Air Operations Commander of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Lt Gen Datuk Mohd Shahada Ismail said through LIMA’23 the RMAF will invite 45 Air Force Commanders to discuss various issues including regional security through the Airchief Conference.

In addition, Mohd Shahada said the 16th exhibition will also feature four international aerobatic teams, namely the Jupiter team from the Indonesian Air Force, August 1st (Air Force of the People’s Republic of China), Russian Knights (Russian Air Force) and Black Eagles ( Republic of South Korea Air Force).
