The Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games are on schedule
The Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, which were previously postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will almost certainly be held this year according to the set date.
Head of the Malaysian Contingent to the Hangzhou 2023 Asian Games, Datuk Chong Kim Fatt said the host, China, is ready to host the biggest sports event in Asia.
In fact, he was also informed that the games this time are not expected to be held through the sports bubble method, instead it will take place in the same way as the previous edition.
“The results are expected to be known this March, but I can share that the host’s preparations to organize the games this time are 100 percent.
“I also understand that the Asian Games will not be organized in a sports bubble because the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) do not like it that way.
