The NAMES of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena Zelenska are the talk of the world.
The couple surprised many observers of politics and the art world when the two appeared exclusively in a photo session for the cover of the digital edition of Vogue fashion magazine, October 2022.
Vogue featured Olena solo on the cover, but some of the couple’s intimate photos were captured exclusively by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The filming location was carried out in an underground building area that was converted into an underground fortress, classically styled and sheltered.
Undoubtedly, the session garnered a variety of opinions. Some are supportive, but this couple is flooded with criticism when Ukraine is still in a turbulent phase.
For Vogue, the 44-year-old woman shared her experience of facing emergency situations but still trying to calm her people since the war between Russia and Ukraine broke out last February.
“Honestly, I don’t think anyone understands how we deal with it emotionally. We expect victory. We are sure to win. And this is what keeps us moving forward,” said Olena who is also known as a comedy sketch writer.
For the photography session, she was seen wearing clothes designed by local designers including Bettter, Six, Hvoya, The Coat, Kachorovska, and Poustovit.
In addition to being solo, Olena also posed with her husband, Zelensky. Their picture is seen to be very friendly holding hands tightly.
“He is true love and the best friend. He is a true friend,” praised President Zelensky.
