The body of the singer “Apo Kono Eh Jang” was safely buried
KUALA LUMPUR: The body of the singer, the late Datin Mastura Ismail was safely buried at the Sungai Long Islamic Cemetery, Cheras before Zohor earlier.
The singer, who was once popular through the song Apo Kono Eh Jang , breathed his last due to stage four ovarian cancer at his residence in Taman Cheras Idaman, at 8.39pm on Wednesday .
It is understood that the funeral of the late was attended by relatives and friends of the artist who was close to him.
The late Mastura, 65, who is also a widow leaves two twins and two grandchildren.
Born in Tanjung Kerayong Mentakab Pahang, he started making a name for himself through a duet song using the Negeri Sembilan accent, Apo Kono Eh Jang! which he sang with Ally Noor.
