However, Blackpink’s concert audience of 62,000 yesterday is still not able to surpass the number of concert audience of the country’s number one singer, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza.

Through Pop Crave Asia, Siti Nurhaliza’s concert in 2004 recorded an audience of more than 70,000 spectators at the same location, Bukit Jalil Stadium.

The number was almost challenged by AR Rahman’s concert which was held on January 28 last with over 67,000 spectators.

Blackpink’s recent concert ranked third with a total of 62,000 spectators who filled the stadium.

In 2004, Siti Nurhaliza’s concert was her first concert tour where Siti toured 15 interesting locations throughout Malaysia.

It is understood that more than a million spectators have attended the concert and that is the largest number of spectators in the history of a concert in Malaysia.
