Ted Lasso wins big at the 2022 Emmys
LOS ANGELES: The Emmy Awards 2022 saw the sports comedy drama series, Ted Lasso for the Apple TV+ broadcast win big at the culmination night which took place at the Microsoft Theatre, yesterday.
The Ted Lasso drama, which was played by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly, also won four trophies including Best Comedy Series, Best Series Director (MJ Delaney), Best Comedy Actor (Jason Sudeikis), and Comedy Series Supporting Actor (Brett Goldstein).
This is Ted Lasso’s second win after winning in the same category last year.
The beautiful actress Zendaya emerged as the best actress for Euphoria while Julia Garner won the Best Supporting Actress trophy for Ozark.
Jesse Armstrong’s drama Succession was named Best Drama Series, The White Lotus (Best Short Series), while Armstrong won Best Writing in a Drama Series for Succession.
The Emmy Awards 2022 featured Kenan Thompson as the main host and was also attended by many celebrities including Micheal Keaton, Lizzo, Amanda Seyfried and many others.
