‘Takeoff’, the singer from Migos rap group was shot dead at a bowling alley
Rapper Takeoff was reportedly shot dead at a bowling center, 810 Billiards and Bowling Alley in Houston, United States on Tuesday.
The shooting incident caused the owner of the real name Kirshnik Khari Bal to die at the age of 28.
According to a BBC report , Takeoff died after being shot in the head while playing dice with his uncle and who is also a member of Migos, Quavo.
Authorities through a statement released said there were around 40 to 50 guests at the scene because they were attending a party before someone opened fire.
Apart from Takeoff who died in the incident, there were two other people who were injured as a result of the incident.
No arrests have been made so far and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner is appealing for witnesses to come forward and cooperate.
Takeoff is the youngest member of Migos which was formed in 2008.
Then Migos exploded after releasing the single Versace in 2013. But the group, which was quite influential among its generation, disbanded last year.
Quavo and Offset also recently launched a joint project, Unc & Phew.
The news of Offset’s death made many Hollywood art workers join in expressing their condolences.
