Slate Digital Launches ML-1A Mic, VMS Plugin Update & Radio France Expansion
Slate Digital has launched the ML-1A, a next-gen modeling microphone featuring lower noise (8 dB), a -20 dB pad, and up to 145 dB SPL handling. The revamped VMS plugin adds powerful tools like Mic Blending, a Stereo Widener, and a Proximity Slider.
Also announced: the Radio France Signature Mic Pack, adding 10 vintage models from the legendary broadcaster’s archives. With over 5,000 mics in use, Radio France helped shape the new expansion.
CEO John Bastianelli called the release “a major leap” for accessible, professional-grade mic modeling.
