Siti Nurhaliza accepted the invitation, leave a message to Noraniza not to stop singing
KUALA LUMPUR: Noraniza Idris’ invitation to her colleague, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin as the guest of honor on the night of her concert received positive feedback from the country’s number one singer.
The invitation of the singer and traditional rhythm fighter was greeted with gratitude and full of gratitude by Siti Nurhaliza.
The beloved of the country said, if there are no obstacles and conditions allow, she is ready to attend and watch Noraniza’s concert at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur around next October.
“Siti is grateful and thankful with good intentions, memories and also the prayers of Kak Ani (Noraniza) during Siti’s stay in Mecca during the day.
“For Siti, if there are no obstacles, Insya-Allah Siti will attend, there is no problem,” said Siti Nurhaliza.
Siti Nurhaliza said this as a comment on the invitation made by Noraniza to her to be the guest of honor at the Malai Solo Concert which she organized next October.
Meanwhile, Siti Nurhaliza also at the same time prayed that all Noraniza’s affairs and plans for the success of her concert would be simplified.
Siti Nurhaliza is also optimistic that all the good intentions of the senior singer will be facilitated.
“Siti’s only hope is that Kak Ani will not stop singing. Siti thinks many people really appreciate Kak Ani as a fighter of traditional rhythm songs.
“But Siti understands that each of them has a goal in life and career. Regardless, Siti prays for the best for Kak Ani, ”said Siti Nurhaliza who used to be Noraniza’s duet partner in the traditional rhythm song Hati Kama and Dondang Dendang through the Seri Balas album published in 1999.
Siti Nurhaliza and Noraniza’s relationship has never escaped the focus of entertainment journalists and fans of the country’s music industry for more than a decade.
Having co-sponsored the Suria Records (SRC) label, the relationship between the two was described as ‘cold’, however, each was comfortable being professional and never triggered any provocation.
In fact, fans of the two performers are also very respectful of their stance.
Siti Nurhaliza and Noraniza are among the local singers who have been committed to fighting for the rhythm of traditional music for the past two decades.
The two singers are also students of the country’s traditional composer and rhythm figure, the late Datuk Suhaimi Mohd Zain or better known as Pak Ngah.
Together with the late Pak Ngah, they recorded many traditional rhythm songs and forged extraordinary fame as well as sparking a phenomenon in the country’s music industry.
