Singer Aishah received the title of Datuk
Popular SINGER Wan Aishah Wan Ariffin or better known as Aishah is one of the individuals listed as the recipient of the honorary degree, star medal in conjunction with the 74th Birthday of the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir today.
Aishah, 57, has received the Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan (DBNS) which carries the title of Datuk.
A total of 410 individuals in the list of recipients of the honorary award were led by the Chief of Army Staff, Tan Sri Zamrose Mohd Zain who was awarded the Darjah Seri Setia Negeri Sembilan Yang Amat Cemerlang (SNSS) which carries the title of Datuk Seri.
The conferment ceremony of the Negeri Sembilan honorary degree took place at the Istana Besar Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah.
Apart from Aishah who was born in Negeri Sembilan, among the other DBNS recipients are Senator Dr Ahmad Azam Hamzah, Managing Director & Operating Partner of McDonalds Malaysia, Azmir Jaafar and Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Asri Abdullah Ramaiah.
Looking at the Instagram account of the singer of the song Janji Manismu, he has started receiving congratulations from fans.
“Congratulations Datuk Aishah, it should have been a long time ago, but if there is sustenance, there is nowhere to go,” wrote the netizen.
“Congratulations you got the title of Datuk, it should have been a long time ago,” wrote another.
“Waalaikumusalam and congratulations Datuk Aishah,” wrote another Instagram user in the comments section of an entry shared by Aishah.
