Shuib admits that he is ready to end his widowhood
COMEDIAN Shuib revealed that his children have voiced their desire to have a woman who can be a companion and who can love them like a mother.
According to Shuib, all four of his children were outwardly seen as needing someone close to them after more than a year of losing their mother, Siti Sarah Raisuddin.
“They sometimes miss and cry remembering their mother.
“Sometimes they say the best when there is a new mother and so on. I know they really understand what is happening but outwardly I can feel they need someone.
“They always tell me how much fun it is if there is an ‘ aunty ‘ who can accompany them for a walk and so on, that’s why my mother-in-law is also often with them,” he told Astro Gempak.
Shuib was met by Gempak while attending the MeleTop program which was at the same time promoting the latest program that featured him as the host for Oppocot Next Level last night.
Thus, Shuib said, he now seems to have begun to open his heart to find someone who can be the mother of his children.
“Since becoming their ‘mother’ and father, I’ve learned and understood many things… in the past it felt like when people asked me when I wanted to get married again, I didn’t know myself.
“But now that time has passed… I see that there may be something in that direction. It’s just that I’m not ready to share it with everyone at the moment.
“That feeling can’t be forced to love and love comes naturally when God opens the heart and we can’t control it,” he said.
When asked what characteristics he looks for in a woman who can become his future wife, Shuib said what is important is the happiness of the children.
“What is most important for children because the mission of a father is to raise children because he wants to give love and balance everything.
“So let that woman have a very high motherly nature to love my children.
“Characteristics for me are not that important because when I have children, priority is given to those who are growing up.
“So if the future wife already has those characteristics, that’s enough. For me, it might be an advantage if someone can understand me and we’re compatible.
“After all, that choice will be the one that will last forever with me. God willing, hopefully it will be later,” he hoped.
The late Siti Sarah died at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) on 9 August 2021 after fighting for her life due to COVID-19.
The deceased gave birth to a baby boy, Ayash Affan, who is now one year old, through surgery without realizing it before leaving forever.
Their three other children are Uwais Alqarni, 11, Dzahira Talita Zahra, 9, and Ariq Matin, 7.
