Search wants to set a new benchmark in the world of music
KUALA LUMPUR: Legendary rock group, Search, described the opportunity to hold a large -scale concert at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, as an opportunity to set a new benchmark in the local music world.
The Endemic Search concert will see Amy along with Nasir, Hillary Ang, and Man Kidal become the first artists to open the concert curtain at the world -class hall.
The concert, which will cost more than RM 1 million, is also considered the culmination of Search’s career that has begun 40 years ago, and fans in attendance will see the best performance they have ever seen.
“Of course we want to present a new benchmark in music. The whole concert must reflect, this is the music of today.
“Now that we are mature so of course we want to show that maturity to the audience. But at the same time Search can’t run away from nostalgia, the songs that are memories and life journey of fans, it also can’t be forgotten,” said Amy when met in a breaking of fast ceremony with Search, on Tuesday.
In addition to their classic hits, Search will also be performing a new song that has never been performed live before.
Founded in 1998, Zepp Hall Network Inc owns eleven concert halls worldwide including nine in Japan, one in Taipei and most recently in Kuala Lumpur.
The RM100 million concert hall in Bukit Bintang has a capacity of 2,500 and is equipped with various features of the best concert hall.
The Endemic Search concert will take place on June 4.
