Saudi Arabia cancels K-pop concerts

RIYADH: A K-pop concert featuring Stray Kids and singer Chungha in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, has been officially canceled.

In a statement, the organizers explained that the money to buy tickets to watch the concert will be returned to the fans.

Strong winds and heavy rain in Riyadh last Friday caused many events in the Riyadh Season schedule to be disrupted.

Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of the General Entertainment Authority and Chairman of Riyadh Season, Turki Al-Sheikh informed that weather conditions forced many events to be postponed including a K-pop concert from South Korea.

The concert involving Stray Kids and Chungha is supposed to start at 7.30pm (local time).
