KUALA LUMPUR: The music director of the popular film Kabali, starring Rajinikanth, Santosh Narayanan will further warm the Indian music scene in Malaysia through the Sounds of the South concert at Axiata Arena, on Saturday.

Sounds of the South will be the first international concert for Santhosh who has composed music in various languages ​​since 2012.

Interestingly, he will join his daughter, Dheekshitha or better known as Dhee on the same stage to entertain fans.

The collaboration of the two ‘divas’ will ‘rock’ the stage in addition to the surprise that will be given to their fans.

The song Enjoy Enjaami sung by Dhee has so far received 433 million views since it was uploaded on YouTube on 10 March 2021.

The concert will create a magical moment for the audience in Malaysia with a stage designed to give the audience a 360 degree view.

The director of Reacch Productions Sdn Bhd, who is also the organizer of the concert, Suresh Subramaniam, said that he expected about 13,000 fans, including 2,000 tourists from Singapore and India, to attend the concert.

“Besides Dhee, the other singers who will rock the stage are Haricharan, Priyangka, Vijay Narain and Dhruv,” he said.

You can get a wrist tag or wristband at the ticket counter starting at 1pm, Saturday.

Doors will open at 4pm and close at 7pm.

The ‘Deejay Session’ will start at 6pm.

The concert starts at 7.30pm.
