Samsung streamlines the Galaxy S23 Series with cameras, the ecosystem is enhanced

KUALA LUMPUR: Leading technology brand, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd today launched the Galaxy S23 Series with three options, namely Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23.

Head of Mobile eXperience (MX) Samsung Malaysia Elctronics Sdn Bhd, KM Liew said, the series comes with improved cameras and a sophisticated ecosystem that makes the user’s digital experience smoother.

“We are doubling the existing functionality by making the camera smarter, the performance is fast and powerful, and even the connectivity of the ecosystem has become smoother than (models) before,” he said.

The Galaxy S23 Series is equipped with a camera with an enhanced ‘Nightography’ feature, in addition to having a 200 megapixel adaptive pixel sensor that allows every photo and video to be taken more clearly and brightly at night.

In addition, it also comes with Amoled twice the refresh rate up to 120Hz and a fingerprint reader under the display.

In fact, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with the Galaxy S23 Ultra having a 5000 mAh battery, in addition to the S23+ and S23 having a 3,900 mAh and 4,700 mAh battery respectively.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra also sports a 6.8-inch screen, while the S23+ and S23 measure 6.6 inches and 6.1 inches, respectively.

The electronics giant also kept the S Pen in the series this time and prioritized a more environmentally friendly design.

The Galaxy S23 Series also has a wider variety of recycled materials than any other Galaxy smartphone, including pre-consumer recycled aluminum and glass and post-consumer recycled plastic sourced from discarded fishing nets, PET bottles and barrels water.

This series comes with four color options, namely Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavender with Galaxy S23 and S23+ from RM3,899 and Galaxy S23 Ultra from RM5,699.
