‘Running Man’ member Kim Jong Kook is positive for COVID-19
KUALA LUMPUR: Popular South Korean singer, Kim Jong Kook was confirmed positive for COVID-19.
The matter was informed by his agency Turbo JK on Thursday.
The agency’s statement informed that Jong Kook, who is also known as one of the members in the popular series ‘Running Man’, however, only experienced mild symptoms and had undergone a self -test on 9 February.
It is understood that Jong Kok, 45, has completed the full dose of vaccination and does not have any health problems.
Currently, all the singer’s activities are suspended and will undergo quarantine as stipulated by the country’s health department.
JK Turbo agency also asked Jong Kook’s fans to pray for the singer to recover and will follow all the guidelines set in preventing the spread of COVID-19 to the artists and staff of the company.
