Refuse to take pictures with fans? Dian Sastrowardoyo does not care to be labeled arrogant
Famous Indonesian actress, Dian Sastrowardoyo was once labeled as arrogant after the celebrity refused to fulfill a request for a photo with a fan.
Not denying that, Dian admitted to rejecting many requests from fans to take pictures together because of a principle.
Dian said, she has made an agreement with her son and family not to entertain fans including taking pictures when spending time with them.
According to Dian, the agreement was made after she once allowed herself to be photographed with fans, but lost the precious time she wanted to spend with his family.
“I have had the experience of responding to requests from fans to take pictures. But the session didn’t stop there because others also asked (same picture).
“So eventually there were more and more people until there was a queue to take pictures.
“In the end, I spent almost 80 percent of my vacation time serving fans,” said Dian when she was a guest on YouTube Vindes as reported by Kompas.com .
But the “Aruna & Lidahnya” star says she has no problem posing with fans if she is at work.
“If when I’m with my family, for example, we go out to the shopping center, I won’t accept any request or anyone to take a picture.
“That’s my promise to the family. But if I’m working, for example another promotion or session to meet fans, I will fulfill their request,” she added.
In fact, Dian admitted that she didn’t care if she was labeled arrogant or angry with fans just because she rejected their requests.
For Dian, when not working, she belongs to her children.
“If I’m on holiday, I’ll be a mother and I won’t leave my children just to fulfill other people’s wishes.
“So if you want to be angry, want to say I’m arrogant, it’s up to you. Because when I became a mother, became a wife, I tried to do it as well as possible,” she explained.
