Ras Adiba focused on finding Zalina Azman in Bangsar
KUALA LUMPUR: Chairman of the National News Organization (Bernama), Senator Datuk Ras Adiba Radzi will focus on the search for her good friend and former TV3 newsreader, Zalina Shaharah Azman, who was reported missing since November last year, in the area around Bangsar, here.
She said this is because the area in question has sentimental value to both of them and as a friend, the search will be done regardless of how long it takes.
“I don’t know how my friend (Zalina) is doing, but in my opinion, we (will) look for her in the places she (used to) used to, maybe it will help to find her and she will find us.
“I’m not an expert in finding people, but I try to go to places she’s used to, who knows there might be a chance to bump into each other,” she told reporters after launching an album of poetry songs and a collection of poems from Sebatak Pohon Tuan, published by the National Poets Club. Ras Adiba, who is also the President of Persatuan OKU Sentral, said the last time he met his friend better known as Zalina Azman was at the beginning of last year.
“One thing about Zalina, she was a cheerful person…but I felt something that she kept was very heavy. I didn’t ask but I know she is going through a difficult time in her life and I pray that she is still with us, ” she said.
She at the same time asked for the public’s help to help find Zalina.
Last Monday, Shah Alam District Police Chief, ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said, his party received a report from Zalina Shaharah’s son, Mikhael Norman, 33, regarding the disappearance of his mother on Nov 29 last year.
