Raja Permaisuri Agong leaves for World #QuranHour 2022
KUALA LUMPUR: Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah desecrated the duke leaving for the World #QuranHour 2022 Program on Tuesday.
Tunku Azizah arrived at the Alhijrah TV building at 11.30 am to spend time listening to the recitation of surah Al-Sajdah which was chosen as the main surah in the program.
This year’s World #QuranHour raised the theme of ‘Dunia Bersujud’ as an effort to strengthen the wave of the ‘Read, Understand and Practice Al-Quran’ movement among the community.
After two years in the Movement Control Order (PKP) phase, World #QuranHour this time was organized with the audience.
The program is under the auspices of the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) in collaboration with the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department (Jawi), the Islamic Tourism Center (ITC) and the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM).
It also has the cooperation of the All-Malaysia Public Library Board of Directors (MPAM), Karangkraf Medicare Sdn Bhd, Rumah Ngaji, Sahabat Al-Quran, government and non-governmental bodies in and outside the country.
World #QuranHour began with the recitation of surah Al-Fatihah and surah Al-Baqarah verses 1 to 7 guided by Mohamad Husaini Mahmur.
The reading session of 30 verses of Surah Al-Sajdah took turns by Dr Anuar Hasin, Abdul Khair Jalil, Ahmad Tarmizi Ali, Amirahman Abas and Ahmad Tarmizi Abdul Rahman.
The tadabbur session was presented by the Chief Research Officer of Yayasan Warisan Ummah Ikhlas (WUIF), Fazrul Ismail; Chairman of the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council, Tan Sri Dr Mohd Daud Bakar and Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation, Faculty of Quran and Sunnah Studies, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Associate Prof Dr Ahmad Sanusi Azmi.
On Monday, the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakub said, the World #QuranHour program is able to raise the image of Islam, thus fostering the culture of the Quran in life whether in terms of reading, appreciation and practice.
