Raihan shared memories of meeting Queen Elizabeth II
KUALA LUMPUR: The famous nasyid group, Raihan, shared memories of being among the lucky ones who had the opportunity to meet the British royal ruler, Queen Elizabeth II a long time ago.
Through an update on Instagram, Raihan informed that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had invited them to perform in Edinburgh.
“My condolences to the members of the British Royal family, the government and the entire British people.
“Raihan was once invited by Queen Elizabeth II to perform at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Edinburgh.
“This picture is when Raihan received Queen Elizabeth II’s visit at the Synchrosound Studio, Petaling Jaya,” they said.
Earlier today the media reported, Queen Elizabeth II, the longest ruler in the history of the modern world, breathed her last at noon on Thursday (local time).
His Majesty died at the age of 96 at Balmoral Palace, Scotland, Buckingham Palace reports.
