Putrajaya Carnival 2022 is lively, more than 55 activities
WITH THE CONCEPT of informative entertainment, more than 55 interesting activities are back at the Putrajaya Carnival 2022 which will take place for three days from 23 to 25 September at Dataran Putrajaya and the grounds of the Putrajaya Corporate Complex.
According to the Minister of Federal Territories, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim , these activities can be implemented as a result of continuous strategic cooperation by all parties involved.
“Among the programs are the Putrajaya Greeting Program, Entrepreneur Bazaar, Education and Career Path Carnival, Hot Air Balloon, Coloring Competition, Healthy Malaysia National Agenda Tour, Arts and Culture Performance, Session with Entrepreneurs & National Sports Icons, Edible Landscape Design Competition, Mascot & Costplay Performance, KLFM Concert @ Putrajaya, Happy Cycling, Putrajaya Fitness Competition, Putrajaya Family People’s Sports and many more.
“I am confident and believe that such leisure activities will certainly receive a very encouraging response from all the attendees, especially from the young people.
“Indirectly, this carnival can improve the delivery system of the Putrajaya Corporation (PPj) as a local authority through community involvement,” he said at the Putrajaya Carnival 2022 Opening Ceremony at the Putrajaya Corporation Complex grounds today.
In addition, Shahidan said today’s event also focused on the Launch of the Putrajaya Corporation Cleanliness Campaign (BeST Putrajaya).
“The main objective of the campaign is to ensure that Putrajaya is clean everywhere. Among the activities are actions to strengthen washing methods in the main public areas and hygiene activities such as plogging, getong-royong and health education and toilet hygiene,” he added.
In the meantime, Shahidan also announced that the Putrajaya Carnival will most likely be held more often throughout the year to be celebrated by all members of the Putrajaya community.
” Insya-Allah , for starters it might be held twice a year because we can see for ourselves that it is crowded all day long,” he said.
More interestingly, this carnival opened the curtain on the event on September 23 with the Putrajaya Blessing Program which brought together thousands of local communities to pray together with the leadership of the Ministry of Federal Territories, PPj, the Federal Territories Representative Council (MPPWP), Putrajaya school students and invited celebrities including Fakhrul UNIC, InTeam Group, Afad Raihan and tausiah together with Al-Fadhil Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid and Al-Fadhil Ustaz Imam Muda Asyraf.
Also present were Deputy Minister of Federal Territories, Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias, President of Putrajaya Corporation, Datuk TPr Fadlun Mak Ujud and Deputy Secretary General (Planning and Development), Datuk Ruzain Idris.
Earlier, the organization of the Putrajaya Carnival 2022, which was held from 8am to 10pm, received support from key strategic partners, namely government agencies, the corporate and private sectors and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
