Puteri Sarah translates her heart through the lyrics of the song ‘Terus’
THE STORY of Princess Sarah Liyana’s domestic upheaval is getting quite a lot of attention from netizens.
The latest, Sarah or Puteri Sarah Liyana Megat Kamaruddin, 38, honestly expressed her heart through the first single she wrote, “Terus” sung by Sarah Fazny.
According to Sarah, the song whose melody is a quote from Faizal Ulwi became symbolic for her to continue to be strong in the face of life’s challenges.
“This song really tells about what happened to me.. what happened all this time I told and translated into a work.
“The song ‘Terus’ really represents my heart. I’m glad this piece finally found an audience.
“At least those out there who are in the same boat as me can get up and continue living as before.
“No matter how great the crisis that happens, don’t ever mourn what happened. I want those who have the same fate as me to get up and move on with life,” she said.
The song “Terus” was launched on Wednesday in conjunction with the celebration of International Women’s Day which is celebrated on March 8 every year.
Determined to continue living with her two beloved children, Sarah said, as a mother, she needs to stay strong for the sake of her children.
“I want to go straight and no longer care about whatever trouble happens. As a woman and most importantly as a mother, I have to stay strong!”
“I have to rise from the sadness and move on with life.
“Standing up does not mean disobedience, but more about loving yourself and not letting yourself be trampled on,” she said.
On Tuesday, director and actor Syamsul Yusof refused to divorce Sarah on the first day of their divorce application hearing at the Federal Territories Syariah Lower Court, Kuala Lumpur, causing Syarie Judge Akmalludin Ilyas to ask the couple to refer to the Conciliation Committee.
For information, Sarah and Syamsul got married on March 8, 2014 and as a result of the marriage, they were blessed with two children, Syaikhul Islam, 6, and Sumayyah, 4 years old.
On January 6, Syamsul made a disclosure on his Instagram page that he had married Ira Kazar in Thailand under the patronage of Ira’s father, actor Kazar Saisi.
