Promising to the devil for the sake of the dream girl, the movie ‘Tumbal Musyrik’ entered Malaysia
TO be screened in cinemas, “Tumbal Musyrik” is the first film produced by Maxstream Original to be screened in Malaysia apart from Thailand, Brunei and Singapore.
In a statement, “Tumbal Musyrik” starring Wulan Guritno, Sahilla Hisyam and Bhisma Mulia also received cooperation from local and Indonesian productions, Horizon Film Entertainment, Punnagai Poo Gheetha and WD Picture.
Its executive producer, Shahir Sulaiman, said he was excited and hoped that “Tumbal Musyrik” would succeed in local cinemas while the storyline and cast were just great.
“I am also excited to work again with the Indonesian production, not to mention, this is the first Maxstream film that will be screened in Malaysia,” he said, who was also joined by Rofik Ashari and Wathin Ciptawan as Executive Producers.
“Tumbal Musyrik” directed by Faozan Rizal and Bambang Drias tells the story of Galang who had to take a shortcut with black magic to get his dream girl, Resti until without him realizing, various consequences and mysterious events will occur.
The once peaceful village is now a bloodbath as a result of the demonic followers of Mount Srandil who had to give up the offer.
Incident after incident increasingly leads to the fact that Galang is the person responsible for all this.
The film will also be screened at the Balinale International Film Festival on June 9.
Maxstream Original is Indonesia’s first over-the-top video streaming service application platform that started operating in 2018.
