Prince Harry appeared in military uniform to pay his respects

PRINCE William and his brother Prince Harry led the eight grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II to pay their respects to their late grandfather at Westminster Hall ahead of tomorrow’s funeral.

The two princes dressed in military uniforms and stood near the coffin of the late Queen Elizabeth II for 15 minutes.

Previously, Harry or the Duke of Sussex was ‘denied’ the opportunity to wear a military uniform in mourning following his decision to step back from official royal duties in 2020.

Harry served 10 years in the British army.

However, citing international media reports, royal sources said King Charles III allowed his youngest son to wear a military uniform while keeping vigil by the coffin of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The relationship between the two princes of King Charles III was reported to be very close after the death of their mother, Princess Diana due to an accident in Paris in 1997.

However, it was seen to be cold when Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle left the royal life and moved to the United States (US).

The siblings were joined by their six other cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, as well as Lady Louise Windsor and her brother, Viscount Severn.

On Saturday night, King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward paid their last respects to their mother.

Edward or the Duke of York, 62, who was stripped of his military title earlier this year, was also seen wearing an honorary military uniform.

Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8 at the age of 96 after 70 years on the throne.

More than 500 leaders and royals from around the world are expected to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral on Monday.
