Pesta Mega Penjaja continues until Saturday
The 2022 Pesta Mega Penjaja (Malaysian Family Mega Hawkers), Traders and Small Entrepreneurs Festival PROGRAM is extended until this Saturday night (October 22).
According to the Minister of Federal Territories, Datuk Seri Dr Shahidan Kassim said it was extended following the encouraging response from the public.
“The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob requested that this program be continued until this Saturday following the favorable response.
“At the same time, we will also announce something big for hawkers on Saturday night,” he said when met by reporters at the Malaysian Family Small Traders, Traders and Small Entrepreneurs Mega Festival Program at Dataran Merdeka, today.
Shahidan said that one of the objectives of this organized program is to provide a new approach as has been introduced.
“Among other things, it is to bring together traders, small hawkers and entrepreneurs from all over the country.
“We will also announce incentives to help hawkers throughout the Federal Territory,” he said.
He added that the target audience is an estimated more than 30,000 people during the three days of the program.
The program that took place at Dataran Merdeka starting today until October 22 brought together more than 506 entrepreneurs, traders and hawkers from all over the country.
It is organized by the Ministry of Federal Territories together with the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Kuala Lumpur City Hall, the Federal Territories Foundation and the Malaysian Association of Small Traders and Hawkers.
