Perak Food Hunter is back again, promoting unique food in Perak
IPOH: A generous prize worth RM7,000 awaits the winner of the Perak Food Hunter 2.0 competition which is being organized for the second year, starting today until September 30.
After successfully attracting the interest of many food enthusiasts or ‘hunters’ to explore and comment on the unique food in Perak, the organizers once again opened the opportunity to the public.
According to the Chairman of the State Youth, Sports, Communication and Multimedia Committee, Khairul Shahril Mohamed, the initiatives of the Sports Communication and Multimedia Youth Office (BSKM) and Digital Perak are among other things aimed at stimulating the local food sector economy.
“We open up opportunities to everyone regardless of age, race and so on. It’s not just limited to content designers who are based on food reviews only.
“The condition is that they have to make a short video on food and reviews of food in this state only, regardless of warung, stall restaurant and so on.
“We want to attract food lovers and foreign tourists to this state through the development of multimedia content as a digital marketing medium,” he said.
He said this after the launch of the Perak Food Hunter 2.0 competition here which was officiated by the Chairman of the Perak Islamic Religious Council & ‘Adat Malay, Tan Sri Mohd Annuar Zaini.
Also present, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Perak, Meor Rezal Fitri Meor Redwan.
Meanwhile, Meor Rezal Fitri when commenting further on the competition said that the participants had to produce a food review video with the theme “Food that is in the State of Perak” and no longer than three minutes.
He added that the participants who apply elements of independence in conjunction with the celebration of National Day and Malaysia Day will receive additional marks.
“I invite the entire Malaysian Family to participate in this competition.
“My hope is that the Perak Food Hunter this time will get a favorable response and be more lively than before,” he said.
For information, this competition is open to all Malaysian citizens.
In addition to being open to halal and non-halal food as well as individuals or groups.
The participants have a chance to win handsome prizes namely; first place RM7,000, trophy and certificate, second place RM5,000, trophy and certificate while third place RM3,000, trophy and certificate.
As for the participation method, participants need to scan the QR code on the poster for registration.
Next, once the video is ready, the participant needs to send it via email to [email protected].
Closing date for entries is 30 September 2022 before or at 11.59pm.
