Pele is buried in Santos
The casket carrying Brazilian soccer legend Pele arrived safely at his funeral home in Santos on Tuesday, as millions of his fans mourned.
Santos, located in Sao Paulo, is the city where Pele grew up and developed his football career.
The final series of tributes attended by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, was held at the Vila Belmiro Stadium before the casket was paraded through the streets of Santos and then arrived at the cemetery.
In the streets, many fans gathered to say goodbye to Pele who was considered like family and part of their lives and history.
Pele died last December 29 at the age of 82
