Organizing a ‘concert’ at the Sultan Azlan Shah Circle has no permission

IPOH: The organizers of the ‘concert’ event which saw many people gathered at the Sultan Azlan Shah Circle, Meru Raya, here, which spread on social media, did not get permission from the police and the National Security Council (MKN). Perak Police Chief, Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said, his department received a police report related to the contagious event, today. According to him, based on the video, the organizers and visitors of the program were also found to have failed to comply with standard operating procedures (SOP) such as physical imprisonment in addition to some visitors not wearing face masks.

“Following that, the investigation was opened in accordance with Section 22 (B) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342) and Section 269 of the Penal Code,” he said in a statement here. He said, the initial investigation found that the organizers of the event did not apply for permission from the Perak NSC or the Ipoh District Police apart from the fact that they were also found to have failed to comply with the COVID-19 epidemic prevention SOP. According to Mior Faridalathrash, following that, the police are harassing the owner of the TikTok social media application account with the name “@Acik_kesepian” as well as individuals involved in the program to assist in the investigation. He advised the public who have any information on the incident, can contact the Senior Investigating Officer, Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Fadli Ahmad at 019-2500019. Earlier, some contagious videos saw many individuals dancing to the beat of the installed music. It was also seen that some individuals did not wear face masks properly as well as the absence of a one -meter physical imprisonment.
