‘Not to play with body shaming’ – Ika Nabella scolds netizens

ACTOR Ika Nabella reprimanded and advised the public not to play with body shaming sentiments in the case of the trial of Siti Bainun and Bella’s sister which is currently hot.

Ika said, it is not fair to place the law in general on large-sized individuals just because of one individual alone.

“If you are too angry with Bainun please don’t point out his appearance. It shows how low your mentality is.

“Don’t be offended by this general rebuke, the evil reason is that he is not the size of his body and imagine other people the size of Bainun read what they feel?

“They will feel bad about their size even though they didn’t even ask to live that size,” said Ika.

The issue of bullying and body shaming added Ika will probably be a driving factor to one’s actions to ‘bully back’ another individual.
In fact, Ika herself has known individuals with different personalities at school and at home as a result of bullying.

“Ever wondered why body shaming is not the cause of certain individuals? Maybe what happened to Bella is one of them.

“People who are not strong in their faith will look for someone who is weaker to meet the demands of their anger. It seems obvious, right?

“I once knew someone, at school he was good because I was the only friend he had.

“Other people were very mean to her but when she went home I was surprised she became a different individual especially to her maid. We were only 11 years old at the time.

“Some people feel depressed when people are body shaming and they will look for individuals who have no power, or are weak in their eyes to feel safer.

“Correct me if I’m wrong,” he added.

Until now, the case of abuse of a teenager with Down syndrome , Bella who was allegedly the victim of abuse by the founder of Rumah Bonda, Siti Bainun Ahd Razali is hotly debated among netizens.

Earlier, Siti Bainun pleaded not guilty to two charges of neglecting and abusing a teenager with Down syndrome known as Bella who suffered physical and emotional injuries.
