Not attending the Oscars, Tom Cruise chose to celebrate a best friend’s birthday
TOM Cruise became an actor known not to attend the prestigious Oscar awards recently.
Through his work, “Top Gun: Maverick”, he was nominated for six categories and won one category, Best Sound.
However, Cruise was not at the awards to celebrate the success of his work.
Cruise, 60, reported Deadline that he did not honor the invitation to the awards due to his work schedule with the production of the upcoming franchise film, Mission: Impossible.
However, some pictures and sharing on social media say otherwise.
The star was seen attending legend Michael Caine’s 90th birthday party at The River Cafe in London.
The two began to have a good relationship since they were both involved in the movie “Austin Powers in Goldmember” in 2002.
In addition to Cruise, there were many other celebrities who joined in celebrating Caine’s birthday including David Walliams and television host, Denise Welch.
