“No matter how angry, I never raise my hand” – Aeril Zafrel
ACTOR Aeril Zafrel has his own way of controlling his anger when faced with a situation.
Aeril explained, morally every human being should not be rude to each other let alone close individuals such as wives and children.
“We as human beings do not deserve to be rude to women, not even to fellow human beings. It is not appropriate!
“If I am angry, I will never raise my hand, if it is with my children or my wife, I will never raise my hand,” he said.
Aeril was spotted at the launch of the Hijabistahub & Soultan Royale Aidilfitri collection at JW Marriot Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
In the meantime, Aeril also admitted to having experienced trauma while growing up with a strict father figure.
“I’ve also been traumatized, when I was a child my father was too fierce. It was common for village people in the past. Sometimes I would bleed to death from beatings.
“So, I promise not to do the same thing to the people closest to me, especially my children because I have experienced that situation and I, as a child at that time, felt very uncomfortable.
“In fact, even in my house, I will not be rude. Not even to my maid,” he said.
Therefore, Aeril has her own way of controlling his anger in the event of a tense situation involving a loved one.
“I’m tough and fierce but to scream, hands up, I’m not going to get to that stage.
“Perhaps I will not be tested to that level again but Alhamdulillah, if I am angry no matter how I will Istighfar, we don’t know who else is the test,” he continued.
