Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally to Headline Vivid Sydney 2025 with Unscripted Stage Show
9 May 2025, Celebrated comedy duo Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are set to appear on stage together for the first time in Australia at Vivid Sydney 2025, the Southern Hemisphere’s premier arts and culture festival.
Their show, Unscripted & Unfiltered with Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally, will take place on Saturday, 14 June at the International Convention Centre Sydney, serving as the finale for the 23-day festival of creativity and innovation.
Best known for their iconic television roles—Offerman as Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation and Mullally as Karen Walker in Will & Grace—the couple will engage in an unfiltered conversation with Australian broadcaster Zan Rowe, exploring their careers, relationship, and activism in LGBTQIA+ and environmental causes.
Offerman, never short of a comedic remark, teased their return to Sydney with tongue-in-cheek flair: “Megan and I are powerfully chuffed to get back to town… Come for the anecdotes and the burlesque lust in our every turn of phrase.”
Festival Director Gill Minervini noted, “We couldn’t let Vivid Sydney pass without giving audiences a comedy masterclass. Nick and Megan bring spontaneity, wit, and irresistible chemistry.”
