ONCE sentenced to prison due to a drug abuse case, the famous Indonesian actress, Nia Ramadhani considers the incident as one of the greatest lessons in her life.
Nia, 34, said she hopes people can learn from the incident and remind them not to feel ashamed to admit they are wrong.
“Everyone has their own past, both good and bad. Every human being has their own life journey.
“There is no need to be ashamed of yourself and hopefully what happened to me before can be used as a lesson and a lesson for people out there.
“That incident also brought great wisdom in my life. Never be ashamed when you have made a mistake, even if you are a public figure. No human being is perfect,” she said.

In the meantime, Nia also had time to express her gratitude when many people gave her support after the case happened.
“After the case, it turns out that there are still many people who support me. Many people love me, I feel very grateful.
Nia shared the matter when met at the gala screening of the film All Access To Rossa 25 Shining Years which took place at Plaza Indonesia.
Earlier, in January 2022, Nia and her husband Ardi Bakrie were sentenced to one year in prison due to a drug abuse case.
The couple was ordered to undergo a rehabilitation process at a rehabilitation center in Cibubur for 12 months.
