Netizens reprimand MV Raya Datuk Vida, alleged to have ‘drag queen’ element
AFTER Datuk Aliff Syukri, now a popular cosmetics entrepreneur, Datuk Seri Vida has invited netizens’ anger.
This is because the music video for Vida’s latest hymn titled “Muah Muah Raya” is alleged to disrespect the festival because it features some ‘drag queens’ as dancers.
Netizens also questioned the choice of the ‘ drag queen ‘ concept and also the true meaning of raya for Vida.
Even netizens also expressed disappointment because with the existence of such music videos have polluted and brought a wrong impression about the meaning of Eid or victory day of Muslims after a month of fasting.
Not only that, netizens also claimed that Vida’s attitude is very immature and not suitable for her advanced age.
Earlier, Aliff had also sparked controversy when he appeared with a raya music video titled “Kelepok Raya” featuring gentle men.
The music video also sparked controversy until Aliff was called by the Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) over the matter.
Now netizens are also wondering if Vida will also be called SKMM?
