Naga Kramat concert is proof of the ultimate rock band ‘Wings’
ZEPP Kuala Lumpur will be a witness to a concert of the last series of the country’s best rock group, Wings.
The concert named Naga Kramat is scheduled to take place on 22 October 2022, Saturday, at 8pm.
Naga Kramat is the title for an album Wings published in 2002 which is also the group’s 10th album.
High Hope
As the organiser, Mashar Mokhtar has placed high hopes and hopes that the concert will be successful.
“MW Mega and Awie Entertainment planned about two months ago to implement this project.
“The early stage is quite difficult because Wings and Datuk Awie’s schedule is quite tight. After discussing with Awie Entertainment, this sacred date was finally chosen as the best day to make it happen.
“This is MW Mega’s inaugural project and I certainly have very high hopes for this event.
“I give 110% commitment to ensure this concert runs smoothly and successfully,” he said.
Wings Teruja
Meanwhile, as the Wings bass player, Eddie explained that he was very excited to perform at the Zepp KL stage next October.
“Before this we only heard the comments of friends who had performed there.
“This time we will act ourselves and of course we want to give the best for the fans.
“The feeling of excitement is definitely there. It’s the first time to set foot on a stage that is always considered a good and world-class venue,” he explained.
Devoted Song
In the meantime, according to Wings’ vocalist, Datuk Awie explained that even though the name of the concert is taken from one of their albums, it does not mean that all the songs from that album will be performed.
“Not all songs from the Naga Kramat album will be performed. There may be songs from that album, it’s just the name of this concert since this album has its own Wings history.
“It’s ‘sentimental value’ between us. What I definitely want is to give satisfied fans and the best songs for those who come.
“I want them to create a memory every time they watch our performance or concert.
“They come paid and not for free, I will appreciate it by putting on the best performance,” he said.
