Nad Zainal, Ungku Ismail got married last January 23
KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nad Zainal and Ungku Ismail are now married in a simple ceremony held in the capital, on Saturday.
Nad, or her full name, Farah Nadia Zainal through the latest post on her Instagram account today, shared a photo of her and her husband, dressed all in white for their marriage ceremony.
Not much information about the ceremony was shared by the couple, except for the dowry worth RM1,000 which was uploaded in a photo on Nad’s IG.
There was no caption accompanying the uploaded photo, but sharing it on Instagram Story on Sunday, Nad chose the caption #MyHero for their photo.
Ungku Ismail in a post on his personal Instagram also uploaded a short video of their wedding ceremony.
The actress of the chain drama Adelea Sofea only shared the historical date of their wedding in the caption of the post.
Fashion designers Seth & Luna, who were responsible for the bride’s make-up, said they were overwhelmed to be honored and trusted to produce the celebrity couple’s wedding dress.
“Beginning as a SETH&LUNA clientele and then being trusted and keeping the biggest secret is an honor over our seven years of friendship.
“Starting from a brand that is not well-known, she has started to believe in our work, both from formal wear to festival wear.
“She knocked on our door to hand over her and her future husband’s wedding dress to their trust. Among the secrets we keep with full respect,” shared the statement.
In the same message, Seth & Luna also congratulated the bride and groom.

Last November, Nad was admitted to the Ampang Puteri KPJ Specialist Hospital, in the capital, due to a lung infection.
During the time that the Blind Chinese drama actress was treated in the hospital, Ungku became the closest person who shared about the actress’ development.
In fact, Ungku also launched an emergency fund to collect donations for Nad to cover the cost of treatment since the actress was treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
