MyDIGITAL Corp, Accenture Malaysia work together to drive the digital economy and 4IR action plan

KUALA LUMPUR: The collaboration between MyDIGITAL Corporation and Accenture Malaysia will drive and boost the Digital Economy Blueprint (MDEB) and the Fourth Industrial Revolution Policy (4IR), especially in promoting digital culture and sustainability.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said the effort concluded through the signing of the Letter of Intent yesterday, will also see both parties explore and identify opportunities to increase economic competitiveness through digitization.

According to him, this also includes collaborative efforts to develop an agile and efficient digital workforce and encourage digital transformation in the public sector.

In a statement yesterday, he said that since its establishment, MyDIGITAL Corporation has played an important role in transforming Malaysia into a digitally driven, high-income country with a focus on becoming a regional leader in the digital economy.

“So far, MyDIGITAL Corporation has engaged and collaborated with a total of 11 companies from the private sector including Intel Malaysia, Microsoft (Malaysia), Cisco Systems Inc, Petrosains Sdn Bhd and Axiata Group Bhd.

“Along with more collaborative plans, I am confident that we are able to generate aspects of responsible, inclusive and sustainable socioeconomic development through a rapid digital economy and ecosystem,” he said.
