My #QuranTime 2.0 is expected to continue in the near future – Hussamuddin
SHAH ALAM: In order to further strengthen the understanding of the holy book of the Quran, the My #QuranTime Program is expected to continue to the second series in the near future.
The founder of Yayasan Warisan Ummah Ikhlas (WUIF), Datuk Hussamuddin Yaacub said, My #QuranTime 2.0 will emphasize understanding and memorization elements after successfully mastering the basics of tajwid and tadabbur al-Quran.
Husammuddin said, My #QuranTime 2.0 will involve the audience to ensure the program is more interactive.
“Now we have introduced the basics of tajwid, the basics of tadabbur as well, so now we want to emphasize understanding and memorization so that when they read the Quran, they will try to read it as well as possible… read it correctly and memorize the short surah so that they can practice in their prayers.
“What we hope is that their prayers will be of better quality, when they read their surahs with understanding,” he said during the Khatam Tadabbur My # QuranTime 1.0 Convocation Council press conference in Shah Alam on Tuesday.
Compared to series 1 which took about two and a half years to complete, My #QuranTime 2.0 is expected to be implemented between seven to eight years.
Therefore, he hopes that those who have been following the program for almost three years have already gained a basic understanding through the 114 surahs or 604 pages of the Quran and will join My #QuranTime 2.0 soon.
The Khatam Tadabbur My #QuranTime 1.0 convocation ceremony will physically be held at Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, Putrajaya on 8 October.
