‘Mummy is happy’, Mas Idayu married a TV executive producer this September!
FAMOUS dangdut singer Mas Idayu has announced that he will be getting married to a man of his choice who is also an executive producer at a television station, Muhammad Sufian Che Isa next September.
According to Mas Idayu, he and Sufian have known each other since the Mentor 3 program in 2008 and have only established a serious relationship for the past few months.
“Honestly, I myself do not expect to go through this phase again. Especially after 15 years of living alone. Only in the last two years I have been praying for a good mate.
“In silence who would have thought my mate was among the people who always work together. From just teasing friends on the Lagu Cinta Kita (LCK) program last year led to a serious relationship.
“LCK participants who are not married, in the end we are the ones who will get married. This is what mates say. Pray that our planning will be simplified,” he said.
Mas Idayu was found at the breaking of fast and infaq ceremony of Ramadan Dapur Pasak & Amaris at Heritage Chicken Rice, Taiping, Perak on Saturday.
Sharing more about their relationship, Mas Idayu, who is also a permanent judge of the TV program, said that Sufian had come to see his eldest sister.
“There was no term for him to propose to me either. We each understand his heart. He kept talking about wanting to meet my family who happened to come from the village.
“Of course I’m happy. Not because I want to get married, but more for me to meet a man who can take care of me. In fact, my son also arranged a place for us to meet four times.
“If we want to talk about preparations, now it is 30 percent ready. There are several places, just choose,” he said.
Earlier, Mas Idayu, also the singer of the song Robek Hatiku, was married to actor Aman Graseka in 1997 and divorced in 2006.
As a result of the marriage, they were blessed with a daughter Nur Dayini Asyiqa who is now 25 years old.
