MSC Cruises Introduces “Dirty Dancing in Concert” Aboard MSC World America
MSC Cruises is set to deliver a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience with the debut of Dirty Dancing in Concert, coming to the World Theatre of MSC World America. This exclusive live-to-film concert will elevate the classic 1987 Lionsgate film with live singers, dancers, and musicians, creating an immersive viewing experience. MSC World America, the newest flagship in MSC’s fleet, will begin its inaugural Caribbean cruises in April 2025, offering guests the chance to relive the beloved film while enjoying spectacular live performances.
MSC World America will feature a range of groundbreaking entertainment options, with Dirty Dancing in Concert as one of the main attractions. The concert will be performed multiple times during each seven-night cruise, including a lively matinee on sea days. The 90-minute show will bring the iconic film to life, synced with a talented live band, dynamic singers, and high-energy dancers. The event will culminate in an after-party, where guests can join in a Dirty Dancing-themed celebration.
This new cruise experience aims to push the boundaries of entertainment at sea. Guests can look forward to additional productions such as Odyssey, a stunning acrobatic show inspired by Homer’s Odyssey; Momentous, a grand illusion show featuring a renowned guest artist; and Hall of Fame, a live concert showcasing pop legends’ iconic hits.
MSC World America also boasts immersive activities at Luna Park, including e-gaming, dance classes, family game shows, and themed parties like Miami Nights and Après, a Euro Alpine celebration. Additionally, The Loft will offer adults a space for late-night entertainment, with dueling pianos, comedy shows, and DJ performances.
As part of MSC’s commitment to offering diverse entertainment, the Panorama Lounge will feature Queen Symphonic, a live concert celebrating Queen’s greatest hits alongside a 36-piece orchestra, and Cinesonic, a cinematic concert celebrating iconic movie music.
