More than 80,000 attended the Apostle’s Love Night at Ayer Keroh Historical Square
MELAKA: More than 80,000 visitors attended Melaka Serambi Madinah’s Melaka Rasul Love Night in conjunction with the 13th Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Day Anniversary Celebration at the Ayer Keroh Historical Square, here tonight.
The ceremony which started at 9pm was also attended by Melaka State President Tun Mohd Ali Rustam, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali, State Government Secretary Datuk Zaidi Johari and the Exco line-up.
Also present were the State Exco for Housing, Local Government and Environment Datuk Zaidi Attan and Chairman of the Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council (MPHTJ) Datuk Shadan Othman.
Muslims in this state who began to flood the Ayer Keroh Historical Square at 5 pm this afternoon, were presented with a montage showing and readings of Ratib al-Attas and Asma’ul Husna.
The visitors then performed the Maghrib prayer in congregation in the field of the square led by Ustaz Abdul Karim Al-Makki, followed by Zikir Munajat with the congregation and the speakers present.
At the event, there was also a reading of maulid and qasidah by Ustaz Al Habib Syech Abdul Qodir Assegaf, followed by the presentation of tausiyah by Ustaz Wadi Annuar.
The ceremony ended with Mahallul Qiyam and the final prayer.
