Monica Lewinsky asked Beyonce to remove her name from the song

FORMER White House intern, Monica Lewinsky asked famous singer Beyonce to remove her name from the lyrics of the song Partition.

Lewinsky, who was involved in a sex scandal with former President of the United States (US), Bill Clinton in the 1990s, sent a message to Beyoncé through her Twitter account hinting at the content of the lyrics titled Partition.

Beyonce was previously reported to be editing and removing profanity from the song Heated which is included in her new album “Renaissance”.

The opportunity was taken by Lewinsky to remind Beyonce about the song Partition.

Partition is a single from Beyonce’s 2013 studio album.

In the song there is a lyric verse ‘Monca Lewinsky’d all on my gown’ in which the name Monica Lewinsky is used as a verb to describe a man’s view of a woman.

However, there was no reaction from Beyonce regarding Lewinsky’s request.

An affair between Clinton and the then 22-year-old Lewinsky led to Clinton’s impeachment in 1998.

It further leads to the exposure of abuse of power.
