Mobile Internet Prepaid Unity Package is cheaper for youth, B40, OKU and senior citizens

Pakej Perpaduan offers users 30GB for RM30 over six-month period

KUALA LUMPUR: The Mobile Internet Prepaid Youth Package which was previously offered for teenagers aged 12 to 24 years old is now extended to youths aged up to 30 years, B40, people with disabilities (OKU), senior citizens and veterans for customers to enjoy a reduction in the price of telecommunication packages for simple Internet prepaid subscriptions compared to the current packages on the market in February 2023.

The Unity Package with a price of RM30 offers an increase in mobile Internet speed from 1Mbps to 3Mbps with the quota increased from 20GB for three months (80 days) to 30Gb for a longer period of six months (180 days).

The Unity Government through the Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) in a statement today said that this latest initiative aims to reduce the cost of living for the target group to have Internet services as a basic utility for the people.

This Unity Package is targeted to be enjoyed by the youth, B40, people with disabilities (OKU), senior citizens and veterans of the Malaysian Armed Forces as well as police veterans.

This RM30 Unity Package offers an increase in mobile Internet speed from 1Mbps to 3Mbps with the quota increased from 20GB for three months (80 days) to 30Gb for a longer period of six months (180 days), said the statement.

Users can enjoy a price saving of 50 percent compared to the existing package which is from RM10 per month to RM5 per month.

This package includes prepaid package subscriptions provided by telecommunication service providers namely CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, Telekom Malaysia (TM) and YTL Communications.

This package is a basic package provided and it is up to the service provider to offer added value on top of this package.
