Michelle Yeoh brought home the Oscar trophy to Ipoh
Actress shares heartfelt photos of trophy with her mother, pays tribute to late father
Malaysian-born Hollywood actress, Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh returned with the Oscar trophy to her family home in Ipoh, on Wednesday.
Michelle or real name Michelle Yeoh Choo Keng uploaded a picture of her mother Datin Janet Yeoh smiling happily while holding the winning trophy on Instagram,.
The 61-year-old actor also brought the trophy to visit the grave of her late father, Datuk Yeoh Kian Teik.
She wrote in the caption, “Without the support, love, and trust of my parents, I would not be where I am today”.
This Ipoh-born actress created her own history when she was announced as the Best Actress at the 95th Academy Awards (Oscar) ceremony at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, United States last March.
Michelle is scheduled to meet interested people for the ‘Pride Of Malaysia Michelle Yeoh Homecoming Public Fan Meet’ program at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on April 18.
