Melaka Police closed a route in conjunction with the AKM Tour
MELAKA: Only one route is closed in conjunction with the Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour (AKM) Melaka which will take place from Oct 14 at the Melaka International Trade Center (MITC).
Melaka Tengah District Police Chief ACP Christopher Patit said the road closure only involved the MITC roundabout leading to the MITC Hotel entrance from 8am tomorrow until 6pm on 16 Oct.
“The public is also requested to cooperate with the authorities, especially the police, to follow the instructions or directions given as well as the existing rules to ensure the smooth flow of traffic,” he said when contacted by Bernama here.
Various activities and interactive programs will be carried out in conjunction with the AKM Tour which has the concept of a people’s feast throughout the three days of the program such as discussion sessions and assistance and advice services from various related agencies.
Among them are ministry and agency service counters, entrepreneur booths, the Malaysian Family Work Guarantee Career Carnival and the Malaysian Family Cheap Sale.
