
McDonald’s coming to Bandar Sri Sendayan in Rantau
Newest outlet in Sendayan Merchant Square to have both dine-in, drive-through facilities
KUALA LUMPUR – McDonald’s Malaysia has inked an agreement with Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd to open a new restaurant in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Rantau in Seremban district.
Its newest outlet will be built in Sendayan Merchant Square, complete with both dine-in and drive-through facilities.
“The restaurant would be built on 21,000 sq ft of land within the bustling 100-acre commercial lifestyle hub,” Matrix Concepts group managing director Ho Kong Soon said in a statement.
He said the impending arrival of McDonald’s to Bandar Sri Sendayan is testament to the planned township’s vibrancy and maturity, and is aimed at bringing convenience for those in the area.
“With its prime location and convenient facilities, the new McDonald’s restaurant is poised to become a favourite destination for the community,” he said.
“This strategic move will definitely benefit more than 120,000 (people) in the entire Sendayan development area and is targeted to be ready for business in the first half of 2024,” he said.
He added that the collaboration with McDonald’s Malaysia is part of an ongoing plan together with a series of initiatives to further enhance the sustainability of the township to perpetuate its robustness.
