Maya Karin ‘rescued’ by hero in FFM32

KUALA LUMPUR : Famous actress, Maya Karin revealed that she suffered a ‘panic attack’ when presenting an award at the 32nd Malaysian Film Festival (FFM32) which was broadcast live on TV2 on Friday night.

The situation caused the actress who is synonymous with her role in the horror film Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam to almost faint and shiver when reading the award for the Best Actor Category at that time.

Through her Instagram social page, Maya however said that her artist friend, Faizal Hussein, who at that time was also the partner of the award presenter, saved her from falling on stage.

When she panicked, Maya apologized and had to hold Faizal’s shoulder to make sure she didn’t fall or fall.

Assisted by Faizal, Maya also took off her high heels, spontaneously continuing the award night by reading the script on the award nomination card

She had to go ‘barefoot’, but managed to read the script even though she was shivering.

“My hero yesterday, very gentlemanly, ready to pick up my shoes that were left on stage,” she said on Instagram.

In the meantime, Maya said that she is now in a good condition, but is still traumatized by the episode that happened to her.

“My condition is getting better. However, I am still traumatized. Of course I hope it never happened,” she explained.

At the FFM32, the film Spilt Gravy on Rice was chosen as the Best Film which took place on a lively Friday night at Encore Melaka.
