Many times invited to join Gegar Vaganza, Ruffedge gave other artists the opportunity to ‘come back’

AKUI accepted an offer to join the popular singing reality program Gegar Vaganza (GV) since from the first season, the Ruffedge group wants the opportunity to be given to more deserving singers.

According to a member of the Ruffedge group, Azan, they do not need the platform as they still have a strong group of fans if they want to make a comeback.

“Indeed, from the beginning we got an offer to join GV. But because we know GV is a platform for artists who don’t know how to come back. GV is an opportunity for them.

“Thank God, we can still come back because there is fan support. We also do a concert, fans have no problem buying tickets. So, why do we want to seize other people’s opportunities.

“After all, this GV also helps a lot for old artists. So it’s suitable for people who want to come back but don’t know how to do it,” he said.

Azan was found when met during the breaking of fast ceremony with artists under the management of Ace Talent and the launching ceremony of the song OoTD Raya at the Grand Barakah Hotel, Kuala Lumpur recently.

Apart from Azan, the event was also enlivened by the presence of Cat Ruffedge, Chubb-E, Da Unknown, Moleque and Azuein Alonto as the Managing Director of Ace Talents.

However, said Azan, the Ruffedge group is open to perform on the GV stage if invited.

“Acting like a typical GV concert, yes, competing is not.

“We understand GV will offer a group that has a still complete line-up of members, so it’s easy for marketing purposes.

“Even though Amir isn’t with Ruffedge, we’re still five compared to other groups that have only two or three left.

“Our stance is not yet (to accept GV’s offer), moreover this match is mentally stressful,” he added.
